Ambulance Service for the public

A new ambulance service is launched by Al Ameen Kodagu District Committee, a committee that helps in organising marriage of poor and orphan girls in the district, with the core intention of serving poor people in time of emergency.

The new ambulance, worth Rs 8 Lakhs, is donated by “ Mohammed Sathak Trust, Chennai” and will be overlooked by Al Ameen Kodagu District Committee.

After inaugurating the function Janab Ummar, wakf board member, Madikeri, handed over the Ambulance key to Janab F.A.Mahammed, president of Al Ameen Kodagu District Committee. B.T Pradeep, former vice-president of KPYCC, flagged off the vehicle.

Mr.M.C. Nanaiah, MLC and Mr. Baby Mathew, President of Kannada Parishad, Madikeri Taluk, were also present during the function. Janab Ebrahim Master of Sunticoppa, one of the chief invitee to the function could not attend due to his busy schedule. Other prominents who were present during the function included, Moulona Azzezuddin rizvi of Jamiya masjid , Janab Ahmed Dharimi of Badriya masjid, Janab Mohammed Ali of Bhatkal masjid and Moulana Hakim of makkah masjid.

Janab F.A Mohammed, president of Al Ameem welcomed the guest and Janab M.E. Mohammed, Kodava newsreader of Kodagu FM station, anchored the function.

Free blood group checking campaign was also held after the inauguration.
